PorphuraMorphe (#38123): @The1pilot1234 Say you breed a female normal to a male albino, then hatch het albino hoggies. You then pair it with an unrelated albino for more albino snakes!
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): Yeah, that can be confusing. I know I was when I first started, until someone explained the genetics math.
Petrich0r (#38390): Oh I see, what id read earlier insinuated I needed 1 level for each loci lol
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): It's possible that there are more loci in those "unknown loci" animal.
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): @Petrich0r What is the total genetics of the pair? The math is : total loci of both pair, minus 1, multiply 2. That's the minimum requirement. Again, the Game Guide's Breeding section will explain the math.
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): @The1pilot1234 You start by breeding a normal 0 loci hognose to another 1 loci hognose, and slowly build up breeding/genetics exp when you hatch eggs. The Game Guide under the Overview menu on top will explain more.
Petrich0r (#38390): Why is it saying I need level 16 genetics to breed a 9 loci pairing?
The1pilot1234 (#38410): hi im new , how do I get started to breed Hognoses

PorphuraMorphe (#38123): Corn snakes up on the market. All with distinct patterns and colours. All ready to breed and all 0% COI.
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): To start off, you breed a normal 0 loci animal to a 1 loci. That's how you slowly build up your level.
PorphuraMorphe (#38123): @NotJayJay What kind of help do you need? If you need some guide, there is a Game Guide under the Overview menu right at the top. It has everything you need to know about how to breed and raising your genetics/breeding level.
