UrMomERROR404 (#30754): nws!!
Nova (#20319): Sure! Let me just switch to my phone. My tablet isn’t the best for responding
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): oooh i see! that makes sense! if you want id love to hear more through pm!
Nova (#20319): I can explain in more detail, but I don’t wanna spam chat ‘>->
Nova (#20319): Yeah! So based off the tags in the reptiles name will depend on what happens. “KTFC” Keep till first clutch— “SELL” is obvs a sell— and “HOLDBACK” means I hold them back till next clutch, or even a few clutches. And then “KEEP” is a keeper to stay — and “PS” means to player shop.
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): ahh okay, that makes sense! can i ask how you know the difference in the breeding page? Is it like based on what youve named them?
Nova (#20319): Public ones I’ll stud out the prettiest holdback male, and sell the rest to market that I don’t keep. Private lines , I’ll keep a select few I want, and the ones that I don’t keep are player shopped (voided)
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): and then private is like keeping all of them?
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): so are public lines ones you stud out or sell babies?
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): wow you have some really amazing brown royals!! im gonna have to write down some of these morph combos for breeding projects lol
Nova (#20319): He is stunning! I would make him a public line, but I adore him
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): ooh beautiful!! I love how it looks like ice cream!
Nova (#20319): Check out this reptile!
Nova (#20319): I just bred a cosmic clown a bit ago
Nova (#20319): Feel free. I have some stunning royals (imo) .
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): i honestly love the unique brown patterns, they're so interesting!
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): i love that! im gonna have to check out your snakes, ive wanted to breed for looks since i started but had to build up my collection first
Nova (#20319): Like I said, I like pretty things. If I think things could look better, I’ll try it. Like, with lavender albino- I bred it into bamboo, or clown and pied. Made some stunners!
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): ooh okay i see! I love how the blue eyes look, i see why you breed the trait in!
Nova (#20319): He is also a super Mojave. Just not patternless
Nova (#20319): Check out this reptile!
Nova (#20319): He is a visual blue eyed Lucy , (super Mojave). Now they can be blue eyed, and not white patternlesses.
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): oh thats gorgeous!!
Nova (#20319): Check out this reptile!
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): ooooh okay, i wondered why i havent seen any leucistics!
Nova (#20319): The game is accurate to a certain point. Super Mojave are blue eyed Lucy’s
Nova (#20319): Mhm. A
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): oh wow! I might have to research more into genetics, im assuming the game is pretty accurate to real genetics? i didnt know super mojaves produced blue eyes!
Nova (#20319): Genetics does still play into color-breeding. If I think something looks better with blue eyes- I’ll breed it to a super mojave or something that will produce it visually.
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): I think im trying for a mix of both tbh... high quality and beautiful!
Nova (#20319): Yeah! Paula Prefers Quality & Loci Breeding. That’s just how she does it :))
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): oooh i like that! cuz sometimes their genetics are a weird one-off and we dont get pretty babies from them
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): that makes a lot of sense!! soryr i think i was remembering how paula does theirs lol. I love to pick the prettiest ones too!
Nova (#20319): However, if there’s more than one, I’ll keep up to 3-5 of them. And then keep till first clutch, and if they don’t throw any pretties, I’ll sell them. But if they throw stunners I’ll hold back them
Nova (#20319): I actually prefer color-breeding! I do love pretty things. I tend to keep the prettiest offspring of the clutch.
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): oh wow he is! such pretty colors
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): yay thank you!!
UrMomERROR404 (#30754): i think i just name all of them cuz I havent decided how to pick which to sell. I like your way of keeping the top 5 quality of each loci, but then do you sell past breeders once a new snake of higher q is produced? I feel like I'd run out of snakes lol
